I love fall and I always want to decorate my home but sometimes it can just be so expensive! Here are some fall home decor items under $20 that I think will make your house feel like home this fall season. SOME OF MY FAVORITES One of the seasonal materials I am most excited for is amber glass! Why You Should Use a Steamer to Remove Wallpaper!

MY WALLPAPER STEAMER IS MY NEW RENOVATION BFF The scariest thing when thinking about updating my home is the colossal amount of wallpaper I would have to remove. Well, I did some research and found that a wallpaper steamer might change my life and it did not disappoint. Here’s the thing, if I can avoid using extra chemicals, I will. I’m not as good about that as I should be but, hey man, at least I’m trying. In my research, I found that there are SOOOOOOOOOO many chemical sprays. The design would involve removing the old, rotted, and unsafe deck and replacing it with a 16'x20' deck with a pergola. Part of the deck would still be allocated for grilling and would add space for outdoor dining. To help with that, I would build a 2'x4' island on wheels. I would pour the concrete counter and build the supports on casters. This would allow counter space to supplement grilling, bar space to supplement entertaining, and potting space to supplement my plant obsession.

Tour de Palmetto | A First Look at our Super Dated Home

One of the reasons I started this blog was to take you through my renovation journey so that we can both learn to make our homes Pinterest-worthy and magazine-ready. My boyfriend, Taylor, bought his grandparents home 2 years ago and let me tell you my mind was going crazy with all the possibilities. Once Taylor talked me down from my lofty ideas to expand the upstairs and take down half the walls, we started getting some renovations started.
