Elegant Regency Foyer
An Sophisticated Upgrade to my 1980s Entry
The affect of period peice movies and shows is starting to affect interior design. Bridgerton has taken the world by storm and I’m starting to see its effect creep into how I design.
Traditional styles were already on the rise, and now English Regency has entered the chat.
I’ve always loved transitional designs because they merge different styles with new and old pieces. With the rise in popularity of these styles, I can bring some of my design visions to life.
BEFORE

The only thing that Ive really added to this space is the coffered ceiling. All my furniture was temporary until I was ready to transform this room.
The Home Depot is my go-to for everything that I need for my home renovation. Home Depots selection of trim, doors, tile, and decor make this a one stop shop.
THE DESIGN

LEVEL 1
Decor, trim, and paint. This collaboration could be for all the materials needed for the picture frame molding, paint, plus decor for the entry table. Decor could be a large mirror, vase, frames, potted (maybe faux) plant.
LEVEL 2
Trim, paint, and a set of entry doors. My current doors leave the entry dark. Adding a door with sidelites or a set of double doors with windows would really brighten up the space.
LEVEL 3
Entry doors, trim, paint, and decor. Depending on available campaigns and budget, we could do a full space makeover with everything from level 1 and 2.
TIMELINE
- Week 1: Demo current room wall trim + prep walls
- Week 2: Install picture frame molding
- Week 3: Paint and install entry door
- Week 4: Touch-ups, style, and reveal
My calendar is open to make this project work for your marketing schedule.
SUPPLIES
The entry doors are the big ticket items for this project. If you have any brand campaigns for entry doors, this could be a great project for that campaign. I include 2 double doors in the supply list showing the price options. I would prefer the first one because it more accurately matches the style of my home but I can be flexible on this. The door opening is 64″w x 80″h.
